Breakfast thoughts The Hermetic principle "That Breakfast thoughts

The Hermetic principle
"That which is above is like to that which is below, and that which is below is like to that which is above", is well known.
However, I wonder how many people actually understand what this implies.

Physiks might recognise the principle as a quantum concept and astronomers and microbiologists will discover they are actually researchers of the same subjects, the first on a big scale, the second on a small scale.

We recognize ourselves as intelligent beings in a living body. We are made of billions or cells which also recognize themselves as conscious beings in a living body. They are not aware of us in the same way as we are not aware that we, too, are components of a living body which is the earth which is also just a cell in the much greater cosmic body.

On a more practical level, the Hermetic principle teaches us that we could,.for example, study our solar system by observing the electrons of a given element.

Traditional astrology knows the concept of the seven celestial spheres plus the sphere of the fixed stars. Ptolemy further added the planets' epicycles to this model and of course the celestial spheres were ellipses rather than circles.
Elements are also composed of spheres, each element has a nucleus which is surrounded by so- called electronic shells. Each shell can contain a certain number of electrons. Once a shell is full, the remaining electrons get organized on an additional or superior shell, just as astronomical bodies, maybe remnants of an exploded star, can be attracted to a major body and start circling around it on their own orbit.
Besides the shelves there are also electronic orbitals, which are like small let circles in which the electrons move in their shell.
Now, if we apply the Hermetic principle, then it must be possible to study the electrons and apply the results to astronomy and viceversa. The ancients knew this all along. A comet was something that crossed the "cosmic body" of the sky and was therefore similar to an aggressor inside the human body. Like a virus or bacterium.
𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲

Sometimes it appears as they did this on purpose to confuse students...

-The terrestial 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 measures the distance north and south of the earth’s equator.
Its celestial counterpart is 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which measures the distance south and north of the celestial equator.

It gets a little easier here:

-The terrestial 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 measures the distance of a place on earth either west or east from the 0°(Greenwich) meridian.
Its celestial counterpart is the 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 which measures the distance either west or east from 0° Aries (or vernal point).

Besides, the Greenwich 0° meridian has actually the same function in geography as the vernal point in astrology.

Happy starry day!

This morning at 8.50 local time the twitter accoun This morning at 8.50 local time the twitter account of the Israelian Defence Forces (IDF) has released an order to evacuate northern Gaza. It urges Palestinians to escape into the South. Every access (and exit) to Gaza is closed. The Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has also “promised” to cut Gaza off all kind of supply, including water, electricity etc.
Gaza is therefore under the most horrific siege with no place to go, nor in the South or in the north. At the meantime Hamas tells people NOT to move away.

This certainly sounds like a suicide mission, considering the strength of the Israelian army. An Israelian military response was to be expected and is taking place as I write. On the other hand, many Arabic countries have sided with the Palestinians in the past.

Pay attention to the upcoming Full Moon on Sept 28 Pay attention to the upcoming Full Moon on Sept 28.

Saturn and Jupiter are in their bendings which are basically extreme distances from the ecliptic. The planets reach such a high latitude only every 12 years (Jupiter) and 28 (Saturn).

Furthermore, the Full Moon happens the day after the Moon reaches her perigee.
The perigee is the moment of shortest distance between the Moon and the earth.
As a consequence, her gravitational pull is increased.
Tides are usually bigger on these days and spring tides are known to be more frequent. Furthermore, the Moon crosses the equator on Sept 29, which further increases her pull.

Gravitational pull does not only influence water. It also influences currents and even tectonic plates, even though the inertia is far greater and the effects are possibly delayed.

The devastating flood in Libya shortly after the h The devastating flood in Libya shortly after the horrific earthquake in Morocco or the floods in Taiwan, just to name a few recent events, have all been associated with climate change.

While this might be true, they are also the consequences of the lunar declination cycle.

The Moon rules tides and thus, first of all, water. Rivers, lakes, oceans. Ebb and flood, especially in the North Sea or even in some places in Canada, are only the most visual expressions of that strength.
But Selene does not just rule water. She rules all kind of currents and therefore winds, lava and even tectonic plates.
I have written at various occasions about the fact that this year is a climax period in the 18.6 lunar declination cycle.
When the North node enters Aries, the luminary reaches her highest possible declination period of 28+ degrees. She will reach this high degree every month for about 2 years and then slowly start to decrease. This phenomenon is called a "major lunistice".
She first made it to 28°N just while the storm was building up on September 8th.
On September 10th the hurricane Daniel made its landfall in Libya and flooded the town of Derna, just when the Moon was also at her northern bending (farthest latitude). This event looks almost like ticking with a giant clock.

The luminary will come to her declination peak the first time at 28°42' on Sept 24th, 2024 and a second time at 28°43' on March 7th, 2025. After that she starts decreasing in declination.

If we look at the peak of the last declination cycle we see that it started at the end of 2004 and coincided with the Tsunami of Banda Aceh in Indonesia. It's peak was on Sept 15th, 2006.

I will give a talk on the topic of the lunistices at the "Congreso internacional de astrologia" (in Spanish) this autumn. Update will follow.
